Description
We have an opening in our Finishing Department

Employees in the finishing department will complete the final stages of our product.  They will ensure it has a nice finish to it, and install any components required for the bulb to meet the function for our customers.  You will verify counts as you work to ensure the customer receives the correct quantity for their order.  

You will manually assemble components, examine parts, clean and produce quality products. You will look for imperfections on products that can be somewhat small at times as they are worked. The job consists of filling out production paperwork, direct reporting to finishing manager and lead.

The job requires a good physical condition.  You will use repetitive hand motion for squeezing and twisting bulbs, lifting totes and boxes weighing up to 45 pounds when moving products. You will spend the majority of your time sitting in a fast paced environment.  Some walking is involved



Working hours:

  • First shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm from Monday - Friday
  • Some overtime work during peak season may be possible at times.
Pay:  
  •     Starting pay of $15.00 per hour. 
  •     Eligible for a wage increase of up to $17.00 per hour after 90 days.
  •     $300 Sign on bonus after working 520 hours

Requirements:

  • Must have strong healthy hands and arms
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Understanding of production procedures
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Previous manufacturing background is beneficial but not mandatory

Education or Equivalent Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
  • Candidate must be able to comprehend & follow written work instructions.

 

Work Environment:

  • Finishing Room temperature is comfortable with Air Conditioning
  • Constant use of protective gear (hair net and eye protection)
  • We are a certified drug free work place.  We perform pre-hire and random drug screens.
