We have 1 opening in our  Machine Room for a Production Worker

The job requires a very good physical condition, and the ability to work in a warm environment that ranges from 85°F to 95° due to a heated production process.  Majority of time is spent using repetitive hand motion to grip and pull a bulbs in each hand out of molds with an average of a 15 pound pull weight per bulb due to a vacuum underneath the bulbs at a fast pace constantly during the work day (must have strong healthy hands and forearms), manually lifting totes weighing up to 45 pounds constantly and manually lifting molds weighing up to 100 pounds at times during the day without the help of another employee, continuous standing in one area working on a machine.  Employees in the machine room will use liquid PVC to mold our bulbs.  This person will pay close attention to the cleanliness of the molds and the quality of the bulbs they make to ensure our customers receive a quality product.  

You will work with a rotomold machine which has some computer controls, but is mostly manual.  You will make sure the computer-controlled equipment is set up properly, working well, and producing quality product.

You will fill production molds with automatic dispensing systems, manually pull products out of production molds, clean production molds and change molds on a regular basis, fill out production paperwork, and direct reporting to production supervisor and plant manager.

Working hours:

• First shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm from Monday - Friday
• Some overtime work during peak season may be possible at times.

•     $22.00 hour to start.. 
•     Eligible for a wage increase of up to $24.00 per hour after 90 days.
•     Eligible for a $300 sign on bonus after working 520 hours.

Requirements:

• Physical stamina and strength.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds manually alone at times during the day.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds continuously during the day.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Understanding of production procedures.
• Adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Previous manufacturing background is beneficial but not mandatory.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
• Candidate must be able to comprehend & follow written work instructions.

• Machine room temperature ranges from 85°F to 95° due to a heated production process.
• constant use of protective gear (hair net, eye and ear protection).
